One hit wonders (2014) Steve & Sam’s Fruit Sensation / Steve & Sam go veggie

Steve&Sam have been working with short performative formats of 10-15 mins. Their shows are light hearted entertainment that take a serious stance toward changing and revolutionizing the drag king act. Together they explore the undertones of drag, coming from a place of sensation and relation to objects, creating a more blurry, absurd and abstract approach to the drag performance, owning and obscuring their female masculinity.

Steve & Sam are sensationalists, committed to the exhibition of themselves. Smashing out one hit wonders for your pleasure only. They tackle contemporary themes such as; fruit and veg, (glow in the) dark scenes and loop machines, homoeroticism, metrosexuality, pussy, cunt and phallic objects – they are the hottest, dirtiest drag show of this century.
